As per the ending of the last episode in Norway, the leg continues with
all teams on the way to Italy. I'm especially looking forward to the
Lake Como segments.

Using the Travelocity app, teams book a flight to Milan where they must
make their way to the next clue box located at Piazza Fontana.

Liz/Michael who came last shake off their hate for each other and agree
to no longer disagree, at least for the next episode.

Roadblock - Word on the Street

A team member must board a diner aboard a moving tram and spot 3 special
words while eating and drinking at the same time. A city tram that is
also a restaurant? Great idea! More wine please.

Tara, who has spent time in the area, aces the Roadblock and she and
Joey are off to catch a boat to take them to the town of Cernobbio on
Lake Como. Say...is that George Clooney?

The steam ship to Lake Como has staggered departure times for teams.
Tara/Joey can leave the ship at 7AM. Logan/London who were the last to
complete the Roadblock will leave at 730AM.

At the Varena landing port teams are told that a Double U-Turn is ahead.

This is one of the more controversial moments of TAR. The majority of
the teams are in agreement to U-Turn Vanck/Ashton but as they are
arguably the weakest team on the race physically this agreement comes
out of nowhere. What did they do to p off the other teams?

At the U-Turn, which was not far from the boat landing, Tara/Joey agree
to not U-Turn anyone. They know the Karma monster.

Detour - Make A Mold / Grab A Hold

In Make A Mold teams make a plaster-like cast of their teammate using a
long piece of cloth. In Grab A Hold teams climb a cliff to grab their
next clue.

Liz/Michael make nice enough to come in at the U-Turn in second and
U-Turn Vanck and Ashton. Becca/Floyd continue the anti-Vanck/Ashton
agreement by U-Turning a team that has already gone through the U-Turn -
Liz/Michael. This will come back to haunt them...bet on it.

Becca/Floyd chose the cliff climbing Detour and with Becca's experience
they finish that first and beat the all-male team of Matt/Redmond to get
1st place and win a trip to Argentina.

Taking a long time to find the Detour just makes things worse for
Vanck/Ashton and they are unable to pass anyone else whether they chose
the plaster casting or the climbing. They wind up in last place and are
eliminated from TAR.

Next week Venice. Can you sing a tune or carry a grudge?

Becca/Floyd could see that Liz/Michael had already U-turned Ashton/Vanck because
The team who does the U-turn is pictured right there. So why did they bother? They
should have just not U-turned anyone.

To prevent Ashton/Vanck from U-turning anyone else.

Ah so, a strategy I hadn't thought of. I am not very good at manipulation. ;-))

They discussed it during the episode--specifically referring to
burning the U-turn.

Loren, I take responsibility for what I miss...excuse me. I usually have a book open on
my lap while I watch TV so I miss stuff now and then. I seldom ask for clarification,
but this was one time I did.
