Once again I'm real late. We know the winner is Laura Pierson but to
me not the cutest LOL! She did well anyway:

1) Jenny Wu. The cutest this year. :-) She and her partner played a
good game but it wasn't to be that she would win.

2): Jacklyn Ibarra

3): Hayley Keel

4): Ashley Gordon

5): Laura Pierson Congratulations.

6): Aly Dudek

7): Lebya Simpson. Very cute face but she needs to hit the gym badly.
I do like girls with some meat on her bones but in this case it in
mostly the wrong places.

Not into the other women. :-)

I've been waiting for this post! You forgot to mention Tyler Adams as the
winner. I think he was Laura's teammate and kind of helped her out. lol

Wow! I don't think I've ever disagreed with one of these lists as much as
this one. This is my list and I have to say that there is very little space
between them.

1. Aly Dudek--Goddess!

2. Laura Pierson--Love her smile and attitude. Nice body. Aly of course also
has a great body but that's expected given what she does.

3. Hayley Ann Keel--Same comments as Laura but I wasn't a fan of Hayley's
boob job. Too big for her body but I know based on the promotional video she
did for the clinic that did her boob job that she's very happy with the work
and that it helped to build up her confidence. Where it counts, Hayley was
by far my favorite racer this season. She made the season and made the twist
work.

4. Ashley Gordon--I've seen a lot of pictures of her post race and she's
much better looking than what we saw on TV. Then again so are the girls I
mentioned above.

That's it for me. It's not that I didn't like the others or thought they
were ugly. I just found these four were in a league of their own.

Are you going to do a list for Survivor? I don't recall seeing one.

Hayley's voice would just drive me crazy! It was really unpleasantly nasal and kinda
whiney.

I am glad Laura and Tyler won. They got along great, and although it would be nice
in a perfect world if they had hooked up, it's great that they will be BFFs.

What surprised me most was that three of the final four were blind date couples. I
think this twist in TAR worked out really well for the producers, when it could have
made for a real trainwreck.

If you watched the extra clips all season it's clear they didn't always get
along. Same goes for Jenny and Jelani except in their case it was Jenny
chewing out Jelani often. Jenny was the biggest bitch by far. Tyler and
Laura constantly trashed the other teams behind their backs. Blair and
Hayley never did that. They also encouraged each other a lot which of course
the TV edit never showed because it would ruin the character role they had
come up with for Hayley. Blair and Hayley are good friends now. Last night
(real time) Hayley said "Blair and I are like the best of friends now."

Actually the entire F3 were blind date couples. I think the twist worked out
so well because the casting of the blind date teams for the most part, these
three in particular, was excellent. It also helped that these teams decided
early on that they were there to race and not be on a dating show. That's
probably not what BVM and CBS wanted but I thought it worked out for the
best. We got some decent racing plus we got some great fights if you watched
the clips. I thought the cast overall was very likable and I liked the
locations they visited.

If they're going to use this twist again, which it looks like they are, I
hope they wait awhile and make sure they get the casting right. When
Survivor did the first Blood vs. Water I thought it was one of the best
seasons they had done. Obviously so did CBS as they asked for it again a few
seasons later but it didn't live up to the first one as far as I'm
concerned. Hopefully CBS learned something from that but I doubt it.

When she's calm she talks very quietly and her voice sounds perfectly
normal. Blair mentioned in at least one clip how softly she speaks. Her edit
seems to be an exaggeration of her worst traits. For me she made the season.
She was a very good racer (other than for that unfortunate mistake at the
worst time possible) and made the season memorable for a lot of people. I'm
hoping we get to see her and Blair again on a future race. If "Second
Chances" works out for Survivor I can see CBS asking TAR to do something
similar. Blair/Hayley deserve a second chance.

They may not have viewed these pairings as just a blind dating situation. The week before the season started I was flipping through channels and stopped when I saw Phil. He was on some sort of talk show on Lifetime, with a couple of the contestant teams (Jennie and Jelani & another). I missed part of the interview, but one thing he said was that the show gets a lot of mail from people who would like to be on it but don't have a suitable partner. Part of the motivation for doing the blind date couples was to accomodate that sort of viewer. So they might easily do that sort of thing again, and maybe not as a dating situation. But he also said that some of the singles selected had previously tried out unsuccessfully in a team.

On the casting website for TAR27 they're recruiting teams and singles so I'd
say they're definitely open to pairing up people again. I just don't see it
happening right away.

I know that Blair applied for this season with his dad and Hayley applied
with a male friend. I don't know if they were rejected as teams (they could
have reapplied in the future) but Hayley was asked if she was willing to be
hooked up with another partner in a blind date theme to the season. She said
she was. I think what happened is that they saw her and Blair's resumes and
thought they'd make a good match. Blair obviously said yes and the rest is
history. Blair's dad and Hayley's friend are probably screwed now if they
want to do TAR unless they do a screwed over by casting twist.

It's not what I expected at all. I guess it means that people's
friends/partners aren't as race-capable as they are. Apparently
having two people who consider themselves good candidates is more
important than knowing one's partner's strengths and weaknesses.

Which shouldn't be surprising. I would expect most people that
consider themselves good candidates will be in decent physical shape
which has proven important over and over again. They also like to
travel and recognize the difficulties they may encounter on the race
(which isn't always going to be true if you are bringing along a
wife/husband/friend/cow-worker to fill out the team.)

We've seen teams struggle due to the physical demands the race puts on
them both in the challenges and just the lack of good sleep and food.
Self-selected players should be prepared for that. I also suspect the
TAR producers made sure to not select some of the self-delusional
people that wouldn't do well on the race since they clearly wanted
this 'date night' idea to go well.

Unfortunately, this comes so late I can't remember most of the
contestants. As usual, seeing them waiting for the winner at the finish
line makes me think "oh, them, from way back...".

This is the only one I can actually put a name on. So she must have stood
out to me too. It helps, of course, that she lasted to the end, even if
she didn't win.

Re: Real late seasonal tongue in check hottest girl of TAR rating.
I'd have to make two rating lists -- one if they shut up, and another
if they talked. Some of the best looking women this season were
not so attractive after they opened their mouth[1]. They say beauty
is only skin deep, but ugly goes right to the bone.

[1] As always, based on the edit they received.
