Despite having a decent lead-in with "Survivor", TAR's ratings were about even with last spring at 6.06 overall and a 4 share with the coveted 18 - 49 group. It didn't even beat ABC's "black-ish" which started airing at the same time.

Considering that TAR24 "All-Star" was a down season in the ratings as well when compared to TAR22, this result cannot be considered good. However, as I've said a ka-jillion times TAR has seemed impervious to low ratings before arguably due to the fact that its relatively low production costs make it profitable even at this level.

I wonder how many viewers watched Black-ish, and then switched over for the last half of TAR.

Since the ratings are being gathered throughout the show and not just at the beginning, the answer would be "not enough to raise TAR's ratings above Black-ish". Plus, "Black-ish" got a "6" in the 18 - 49 group while TAR only got a "4".

So again, TAR's ratings for this episode are not good no matter how they might be extrapolated. But it also may not make any difference in TAR's fate, either.
