If anyone else thought that water show was just about the goofiest thing ever, well, we might be right.

It's really, um, something.

Have you ever seen any of the Cirque du Soleil productions?

And speaking of goofy, in my opinion dancing the tango on the
wall while suspended by wires is well within that category.

I just replied and said that I'd thought it was one of their productions.

But even though they started here, I've never seen one of their shows.
I know people who have performed or choreographed, the Cirque provides
lots of jobs for dancers and choreographers, so they can then go off and
do their own art.

Not in person. At least Cirque has the "How can that be physically possible?" factor. "Dancing Waters"...not so much. I'm sure it's entertaining, and the tickets are cheaper than Cirque. It's still goofy.

I thought the show was going to tell us that it was a Cirque de Soleil
show. It seemed on that sort of level, though I'm not sure they've done
it with water.

Cirque had (still has?) a show in Las Vegas built around a water stage called "O." Great music, but horrible show.

"Horrible" is much too strong a word in my mind.

The O show is done with a lot of water although not quite to that
degree. The stage is a pool with pieces that can be raised and
lowered to vary it from deep to shallow to land.
