Having not seen the last season of TAR I feel rather good about this
season and this ep is the best one yet.

All teams are on a plane to Norway. Becca/Floyd have an Express Pass and
I have no recollection of them getting it. Will they use it this
episode? They have to else it is worth nothing.

Teams must wake their way to a lighthouse where Bjorn will treat them
to some raw fish and their next clue.

Becca/Floyd get there first and use the Fast Forward available to take a
helicopter ride and skydive from 10,000 feet. With the Express Pass
and/or Fast Forward it looks like 1st place is guaranteed. Liz/Michael
are lagging and come to the lighthouse last.

Road Block : Fueling The Fire

All teams minus Becca/Floyd must climb an amazing tower of wood pallets
that will be burned off in a week. Every town should do this!

Superteam Redmond/Matt finish it first and are given their choice of
Detour - Trolls or Troll.

In Trolls, teams must use a map to find 6 locations in town where they
must call out a troll who will give them a fireworks rocket and they
must return all 6 rockets to a central location.

In Troll, teams must kayak through a canal checking lures of local
fishermen who will provide them with a clue to their Pit Stop...Mount
Aksla, a high viewpoint above the town of Alesund.

Despite having both the Express Pass and the Fast Forward its not
Becca/Floyd that come in first but Tara/Joey. Matt/Redmond are second.
Becca/Floyd do come in third which makes you wonder how fast was that
Fast Forward? Well they had a good time regardless.

And in last place? The bickering Liz/Michael but is it a non-elimination?

No it's not but on the other hand it's not really the end of the leg
either as they are given clues to their next destination...but does Liz
want to continue?

Turn in next week to find out as we head to Italy and another Double U-turn.

I confess I HATE the double U-turns which I believe have the sole purpose of
creating in-fighting and drama among the teams. Bad producers, bad!

Props to the TAR editing team for getting a 'wish we could see it burn'
quote followed by the 'One Week Later...' footage. Neat.

That was my thought too.

Yay for showing the tower burn...that was an incredible challenge, and it was great
to see it burn.

It was nice to see that. I knew what it was as soon as I saw it since
I had seen a live stream of them building it a few years ago and then
saw a video of them burning it. I heard about from a guy I know that
lives near by so he gets to see them build and burn it every year and
talks about people trying to sneak in and set it on fire before they
are finished building it.

Trolls are supposed to be ugly. Those so-called "trolls" were
anything but.
