The episode as usual begins with a recap of the last episode and
considering the amount of T&A in that ep I'm perfectly fine with that.

Teams are shown post Pit Stop getting to know each and perhaps to start
an alliance.

Tanner & Josh, my presumed winners are first to depart to the baptismal
place of Pope Francis in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Pretty good timing
considering he was just in the USA.

With everyone on the plane and taking numbers at the church for it's
opening we have everyone bunched up pretty much as the Detour clue is
given out by Father de Bricassart.

For the Detour teams have a choice between helping keep the city clean
by demolishing and recycling the cardboard homes of the homeless or
transport a statue by use of a truck. On initial view, the moving the
statue would seem to be easier.

Pretty much everyone does the cardboard including the cheerleaders who
wish to remind us that they are athletes and not so much in it to date
pro atheletes.

Buenos Aires has a graffitti proble apparently.

Justin/Diana finish first and are off to the Roadblock which is to learn
the Tango. Seems simple enough until they are told that you have to
dance on a wall. Okay, i'm calling made up challenge on this one. That
or they really love the tango and Lionel Ritchie.

Another win for Justin/Diana as they are out first and on the way to the
polo grounds which is todays Pit Stop where they win a trip to Mororoco.

The editing says its a 3 way race to not be last.

Great fake out by Phil telling the dancers they are at the back of the
pack but that's only 3rd last. So whose last? Well it aint Ernest & Jin.

It's Alex & Adam who look to have been x'd by their taxi if the editing
is true. Have to wait for the post show interview to find out.

I hope I don't hear that Tango music for a looonnnng time.

I wish Alex & Adam had lasted longer but luck wasn't on their side in that
leg. If I could do some racer swamping I'd put Justin with the creepy mom as
I can't stand either one of them. I like Diana a lot but can't stand the way
Justin is acting so I hope they're out next. Then get rid of creepy mom
Diana. The paparazzi team is annoying as well--more the husband than the
wife. They'll probably self destruct in short order.

The pope's old church was very impressive! I'd like to know if that church
had tours before he became pope.

CBS makes things available the next day on a PC (or, I believe, Mac) however they're not available on the iPad for a week without paying.

JDunlop, I think broadcast networks charging a fee for watching after
the show has aired is just ridiculous. If it were charging to watch in "real time,"
I wouldn't have a problem with it.

I don't disagree, especially since I pay for viewing it via my cable bill, however this is the new model and CBS and HBO are out front with this. Actually, I guess Netflix is the true new model.

From their viewpoint, revenue from advertisements is declining as more people watch with recorders, and skip (fast forward) through ads. They do get revenue from cable/dish networks per subscriber, but that's declining as more view over the web. So they are building a system to get revenue from that.

CBS give you a week or so to watch the episodes for free. The first two
episodes are currently free according to their website.

Thanks, Brian, I clicked on that trial link, but you still have to give them all your info and
remember to cancel before charges set in. One episode just isn't worth it.
I don't know why the broadcast channels think their programs are so precious when
new technology continues to erode their viewership.

You don't need to use All Access to watch the free episodes. Just click on
the thumbnail of the episode you want and you're good to go. All 40 episodes
of BB17 are available for free so maybe all of TAR27 will be as well until
the season is over.

Thanks again, Brian...I clicked on the link for the full episode, but got a pop-up
saying I had to subscribe to all access. Maybe it is my iPad. I'll give it a go
on my laptop and try again.

Do you get your TV over-the-air (OTA) or do you subscribe to cable televsion?

Many cable providers have "on demand" services that let you watch most of
the programs that are currently airing. On U-Verse, for example, new episodes
of TAR appear two or three days after they air, and continue to be available
for about a month.

Thanks, Q...I have DirecTV, and CBS isn't part of their on demand
service. I can watch NBC and ABC shows. I did manage to watch
this episode I missed, but it was under their free trial deal.
